How to prepare for treatment
It is important that you want to be helped by the treatment, and that you believe that the treatment will be able to help you.
When you enter the treatment room:
(For those who come to the Rabbi's clinic in Tiberius)
Please remove all metallic objects such as watches, rings, chain necklaces, etc. Please loosen belts and ties, and remove your shoes, eyeglasses, and anything else that might put pressure on your body.
During treatment you remain fully clothed, so there is no need to remove any clothing.
Try to be relaxed and comfortable.
During the treatment
Please try to remember not to cross your hands and feet, and to keep your eyes closed. When our eyes are closed we can disengage from daily problems and our environment. (The brain produces relaxing Theta waves when we close our eyes.)
At the end of the treatment
Please don’t try to get up immediately. Wait until Rabbi Elfassy tells you that is okay to get up. Otherwise you might experience dizziness or feelings of heaviness.
For the next 24 hours immediately after a treatment try not to do anything that requires great physical exertion.
You should rest as much as possible and drink lots of liquids.
Please wait for about 3 hours before showering or bathing.
It is usual to experience varied physical sensations. Try to remember, or keep a list of these sensations. If you have any questions at all about what you are experiencing, you can call Rabbi Elfassy, or you can discuss your experience with him before your next treatment.
DO NOT GET UPSET ABOUT ANY NEW OR STRANGE SENSATION OR PAIN THAT YOU FEEL AFTER THE TREATMENT. – THESE SENSATIONS OR PAINS ARE INDICATIONS THAT THE BODY IS REACTING POSITIVELY TO THE TREATMENT!
(Some patients may feel some pain during the treatment itself, others may not feel anything until a day later. Remember, all these symptoms are telling us that there is a positive reaction to the therapy.)
Reactions during the treatment
Nine out of ten patients experience varied and even strange sensations during the treatment. Such sensations include: warmth, energy flow, “butterflies”, tiredness, heaviness, floating, or some pain. Although you may experience new and strange sensations they are usually calming and pleasant.
Some general notes about Energy therapy
Before the actual treatment phase, Rabbi Elfassy does a diagnosis. At this time he discovers the source of the health problem, and the treatment will be based on what he finds as the root of the problem. For example: a man comes for treatment for sinusitis. Rabbi Elfassy’s diagnosis indicates, however, that the source of the problem is actually in the intestines. Therefore, the treatment will be directed at the source of the trouble—the intestines.
Treatment for all patients will similarly be based on the actual source of the problem—not necessarily on the symptoms that the patient has experienced.
The number of treatments varies according to the problem.
There is no way to foretell how successful the treatment will be. Its success is to some degree dependent on cooperation between the patient and the therapist, as well as on other variable factors.
